Executive Director/Founder
Jenna Taylor, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Jenna Taylor is a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and received her Masters of Education in autism and ABA from Texas State University, and a B.A. in Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She is the founder of Independent Identity. She has over a decade of experience teaching and providing services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities as an ABA provider and high school life skills special education teacher. She is the President of the Austin area special interest group for local BCBAs, ATX ABA. Originally from Southern Colorado, she enjoys cheering on the Denver Broncos and spending time with her new baby boy, Reese.

Caroline Roesel, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
In-Home/Parent Training
Caroline Roesel is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked in the greater-Austin area since 2015. In addition to her clinical work, she teaches at St. Edward’s University as an adjunct professor in the M.A. program for Applied Behavior Analysis. Caroline has worked with clients with a range of disabilities and psychiatric needs from very early childhood through late adulthood. Caroline’s various roles have included teacher, research assistant, and analyst at various clinical and director-level roles. After working as a BCBA for 8 years with children with autism and their families, Caroline’s work expanded to serving adults with a wide range of disabilities, moderate to severe challenging behaviors, and acute psychiatric disorders. Caroline’s passions include teaching and supporting parents and caregivers. Other areas of interest include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and connecting adults with disabilities to services. In addition to being a licensed behavior analyst, she is currently working toward obtaining a second licensure in counseling.
Nolan Adamiec, RBT

Hello, I am Nolan. I am an BT and have worked with people with special needs for the past three years. I have played hockey and baseball for my whole life and love sports. I'm from California and love concerts so am excited to be in the live music capital of the world. I'm excited to share my knowledge and learn from all our friends.
Bobbi Maresh, RBT
Registered Behavior Technician
Bobbi is a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience working with individuals facing diverse abilities and challenges. Originally from Minneapolis, she relocated to Texas to be closer to family. With a particular interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Bobbi recently obtained her RBT certification to enhance her skills in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Outside of her career, Bobbi finds joy in activities like bicycling, swimming, and yoga, and she is an avid reader and lifelong learner. Committed to giving back, she volunteers on weekends with organizations that provide food for those in need.
Isaac Jones, BT
Behavior Technician
Isaac Jones is a BT who has been working in the field of ABA since 2018. He has always had a commitment to his local community, facilitating opportunities for youth to develop skills that will be practical as well as applicable to future job opportunities and participating in local community outreach programs. He worked with individuals with autism in a home setting providing them with structured schedules and facilitating community outings to expand their knowledge and impact on their local community. Originally from California, he lived in the only rainforest in North America and enjoys fishing, camping and roadtrips.
Katie Redfearn, M.S.- RBT

My name is Katie! I am originally from a small town in northeast Texas, called Cookville. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Special Education and ESL, from Texas Woman's University. While studying at TWU, I began journey in ABA. I was fascinated by the idea of helping others through behavior change. I decided to further my education at UT Austin to earn a Master's in Special Education through the Autism and Developmental Disabilities program. My goal is to become a BCBA and help other where ABA is not accessible. I believe that through ABA, I can help children, adult, and their families develop the skills needed to succeed in life. I am fortunate to have discovered a field where I can connect with others on a personal level.
Lynne Taylor, RBT
Registered Behavior Technician
Lynne Taylor came to Independent Identity as a volunteer over a year ago and became interested in learning about ABA therapy. She was named Independent Identity volunteer of the year in 2023, volunteering over 350 hours! On March 1 of this year she became a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) and became an official employee at II. On the volunteer side, she spends time doing fundraising for II. She is a retired labor and delivery RN and restaurant owner. In addition to working part time at II, Lynne works part time at Stone House Vineyard. She enjoys traveling and spending time with friends, kids, and three grandkids.
