Services
A therapeutic center and community based program in Austin, Texas serving adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities who require higher levels of support.
Who We Serve
Independent Identity is a therapeutic center and community based program in Austin, Texas serving adults (18+) with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities who require higher levels of support.
Many of the individuals we serve have not had access to traditional adult programs due to complex needs or challenging behaviors. Our program is designed to meet them where they are — with compassion, structure, and individualized support.
Through a combination of center-based and community-based services, clients work on communication skills, vocational and daily living skills, social connection and engagement, and reducing behaviors that limit independence. Our goal is to help each individual build the skills and confidence needed to access more independent and less restrictive opportunities over time.
Eligibility
